Mavic.ai brings in Jamshed Wadia as an Independent Advisor for AI Ethics & Governance
AI is reshaping how the world creates and consumes content, and it’s also reshaping truth itself. Every day, millions of pieces of content compete for attention, shaped by algorithms that reward virality over veracity. The result is a digital environment that can accelerate echo chambers and misinformation.
As an AI company helping people create content, Mavic.ai recognises that our responsibility goes beyond innovation. We want to build technology that augments creativity, curiosity, and individuality rather than replacing or dulling them.
To ensure our platform grows responsibly, we’re proud to announce that Mavic.ai is bringing in Jamshed Wadia as an Independent Advisor for AI Ethics and Governance.
Jamshed is one of Asia’s most respected voices in digital transformation and marketing leadership. He has been named among PRovoke Media’s Top 25 Innovators in APAC, with a career spanning giants like Intel and Edelman Asia Pacific. In his work with these companies, he has built marketing centres of excellence, led digital innovation across global markets, and pioneered the enablement of AI tools within large organisations.
Today, he operates his independent consultancy AIdeate Solutions, where he works with CMOs and communication leaders to help shape regional marketing priorities, mentors emerging leaders, and guides initiatives that advance the ethical and innovative use of AI across the industry. He also mentors startups through TASMU (Qatar), HP Garage 2.0 (Singapore), and Eduspaze (Singapore), guiding them on AI strategy, Branding, product development, and ethical deployment. He also serves on the Asia CMO Council Advisory Board. Jamshed will help Mavic.ai shape frameworks that will form the core pillars of our business:
1. Augmented, not fully autonomous: empowering humans to think deeper and create better with AI as their co-pilot.
2. Transparent and accountable: embedding safeguards to detect bias, hallucination, and misinformation.
3. Human-centred and compliant: aligned with global standards of fairness, inclusion, and data integrity.
"Guardians of trust — that’s what ethical AI leadership is about. An augmented approach where humans and AI work hand in hand isn’t just ethically sound; it’s also economically smart. It helps people focus on creativity and judgment while ensuring that technology amplifies human potential rather than replaces it."
Jamshed Wadia
“Jam has been both a mentor and a friend for years, and I’m excited to have his guidance as we shape Mavic. Together, we want to make sure our product innovates responsibly, with guardrails that reduce bias, prevent misinformation, and always keep human creativity and culture at the centre.”
